Analyzing Flash Banner
A flash banner is an animated web banner that is designed in adobe flash or in similar program. The purpose of a flash banner is to attract the public to view their product
This advert was displayed on youtube and leads to the web address stated above. This advert shows two people in sportswear along to a color wheel which shows one of the symbols on the apple watch. The people are wearing bright colours to catch the viewers attention and they are wearing sportswear to show the intention of the advertisement. It measures your heart rate making it perfect for people who are active and like to go running. It has a in-built GPS so you can record your distance and speed while running. I learnt all of these facts just by clicking the advertisement. Knowing more information after clicking the advertisement makes it more plausible for the viewer to consider purchasing the product.

This advertisement was shown on eBay. It is animated and the flash is used to emphasized how much you can save on car insurance by making the price enlarged. The advert displays it's logo so you know who they are, and includes a link so you can access their site entitled "get a quote." It takes you straight to their homepage where you have many options. The use of color in this advert is smart as it blends in with the eBay homepage and you won't try and avoid it as it isn't obviously bright and colorful like an advert usually is. This advert doesn't really have much flash animation, but sometimes keeping simple is the best as the advert doesn't annoy or irritate the viewer.

This one for vacations. As you can see, this advert is quite the opposite to the one shown above. It's eye-catching and displays a rather large picture of a boat, which will appeal to traveller's and fun-seekers. Also, the hot pink banner at the top of the screen shows text giving a tempting offer that gives buyers to get 75% off last minute cruises. Some of these sites actually show what is offered on the advert, but some exaggerate or lie about their services, which according to internet slang, is known as "clickbait" or false advertising.

This advertisement was on Vevo. It is a moving image that gives viewers a taste of what the music video will be about, without playing audio to draw the curiosity of the viewer. It also states the bands name, and information about their new album in small print, in order to inform said viewer about the content behind the hyperlink. It certainly worked on me, as I am a fan of the band and encouraged me to view the clip.
