Hello.
Today we went to the music room and the performing arts teacher, Sarah, gathered the film class and the dance class around to discuss potential shot types and styles we could use on the day of filming. The dancers also gave us some ideas about what shots they would like to see in the music video. We took that into consideration and the next week we came into their studio with our own equipment (tripods, cameras etc) and got to work filming them dance in order to get a feel of what shooting dancers would look like, because of multiple variables (the movement of the dancers, the focus shifting, fitting all of them on screen.)

I ended up making a suggestion about the formation of the dancers as they were cluttered together and I suggested that they stand in vertical rows in a symmetrical manner. After they made a change, the dance routine on film looked cleaner and more put together.
