Hello.
Since we are working on a stop motion film, our class decided to practice the art of stop-motion to see what trials and errors would come about.
Here is the film that I made.
In my opinion, I think I did pretty well for my first stop motion film. I think it flows nicely and doesn't look extremely choppy. I think that I could've taken more shots when the camera was turned vertically as it would've looked more professionally done.
I had to take a lot of shots, and the slightest movement of the camera could've ruined the flow of the images as one could contrast hugely to another. The lighting is not the same in all of the shots, which is something that I could work on next time.
I've learnt that I need to take more then one picture of each still just in case there are errors in lighting or coloring. I also need to take a lot of pictures as a five second duration is usually good for continuity.
